Reception and Tower Summary

TV and RF Channels
The TV channel, also called virtual channel, is the affiliate network channel displayed. The Radio Frequency RF channel is the over the air broadcast channel. The channel will be in either the VHF or UHF Frequency Band. Most RF channels are in the UHF band. Make sure your antenna gets the frequency bands you want.

TV -- TV (Virtual) Channel Displayed.
RF -- Radio Frequency Broadcast Channel.
VHF or UHF Frequency Band.

Televisions and Systems
All televisions received an HD (High Definition) TV system broadcast. A UHD (Ultra High Definition) TV system broadcast requires a NextGen 4k UHD television for reception. Less than 2% of TV channels use the UHD television system.

HD and UHD TV Systems
HD -- High Definition (ATSC 1.0).
Most broadcast use an HD TV System.
UHD -- Ultra High Definition (ATSC 3.0).
NextGen 4k UHD Television required.

Home Signal
Home signal strength is an estimate based on a home antenna 30 feet or more above the ground. Indoor antennas will have a reduced signal. Terrain, tall buildings, trees, and other obstructions will reduce or block signals, especially for UHF frequencies.
